Mr. James Ernest Hammitt, Jr. passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

James was born on November 4,1956, in Spartanburg, S.C., and lived a full and vibrant life. Please continue to lift his loving wife Brenda Gale up in prayers.
