It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terri Cheeks, who departed this life on
July 7, 2026, at the age of 56. Terri lived a life centered on love, family, and compassion. She will be
remembered for her kind heart, warm spirit, and the love she shared with those fortunate enough
to know her.
Terri was the beloved daughter of Sharon Terrian. She also leaves behind a husband, Alfonda Cheeks,
with whom she shared an important chapter of her life. and a loving mother to her daughters,
Alexis Cheeks and Victoria Brewton. Nothing brought her greater joy than her family,
especially her cherished grandchildren, Arianna Chappell and Myles Thorne, who brought endless
happiness to her life.
Terri's memory will live on through her family and friends, whose lives were touched by her
love, strength, and generosity. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of kindness and
devotion will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The family asks that Terri be remembered not only for the way she left this world but for the
beautiful way she lived in it and the love she shared every day.
