D'Andrea Prater Obituary

D'Andrea Amiyah Prater entered the world on Thursday, November 18,2010 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

On Wednesday, January 17,2024 God called her home to reign with the angels in heaven. Amiyah, affectionately called by family and friends attended Legacy Christian Academy from Pre-K to second grade. From the third grade to her present year in sixth grade, she attended Green Charter School in Spartanburg, SC. She enjoyed her video games on the VR set, talking on the phone for hours with her friends, singing and

dancing the time away. As if, “Frozen” in which she would sing the title song ‘Let It Go’ as if she were the character Elsa herself, she loved going to church and participating in Sunday school. As she became a preteen, the tv series Stranger Things was her favorite show. Amiyah loved going on vacations to Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World and North Myrtle Beach.

Amiyah who was always chosen to go up on stage and be a part of the show. She was not shy at all; she was the light in a crowd.

Her favorite music artists were Billie Eilish and Melanie Martinez. Amiyah did her chores around the house and enjoyed helping in any way she could. Amiyah had a beautiful loving soul. She had a very vivid imagination; you would think you were on an adventure with her. Everyone she encountered left with joy and laughter in their hearts. Her great grandmother would always say that Amiyah would smile with her eyes; they had a sparkle in them.

She has left a legacy of love to all who came into her presence.

Amiyah leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother Diondra Prater and one uncle DeCarlos Steen, both of the home, a God brother, KhaiVon G. Williams, a sister, Arayah Prater.

Aunts DeKarla Steen and Kendra Lyles, and her father Enrique Romero all of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Her Godmother, Sheniqua Williams, Grandparents, Sherry (Keith)Williams, Teachers, Classmates, and host of friends will miss her dearly.
